You never know what you mind find hiding in the crevices in the tide pools along our rocky shore. Native residents include chitons, barnacles, periwinkles, turban snails, limpets and crabs. Look but don’t touch … the Monterey Bay Sanctuary is just that, a place of refuge for our local shore dwellers.
And remember … watch out for those waves, they can sneak up on you.
