Once again, the Pacific Grove Museum is offering the capstone work of CSUMB students. Their work will be on exhibit through the 12th of June. The Pops Orchestra is back! This year they will perform their Memorial Day Program it's theme is "To Remember and Honor". As in the past it will be on the lawn at Monterey City Hall. It sounds impressive doesn't it? And it is. Like only a genius can, Brahms turned the idea of a Requiem Mass on its head and did it just in German. He said that it would work just as well if it was a Requiem for the World. In these days when thoughtful reflection is called for, maybe this is the soundtrack. Monterey Museum of Art is kicking off its Summer Camp series with this, a combination of two favorite children's activities. The week of June 6th starts this camp which will use LEGO technology to engage in the search for Pokemon. It's aimed at 5-7 year olds so don't get your hopes too high.
