Every Saturday and Sunday through October 31st the staff at Castle Rock State Park will be taking folks like you on hikes through the impressive forest that is this park. They begin at 11:00 and last an hour, the hike is just over a mile and filled with lots of interesting things. No, it is not an exhibit of cute beasts. It is a wonderful rhythmic band cranking out late night music in Big Sur. Sounding like they emerged in the early 21 century, but really their genesis is much more recent.
