Birding at Carr Lake

The former wetland that is now the vernal lake we call Carr Lake was the temporary home for multitudes of migrating birds. there is still a lot to be seen at the site. There will be several knowledgeable people there to help identify and familiarize you with our local bird residents and visitors. Then there will be a chance to help out. The lake is always in need of attention, things like weeding, picking up litter, and such. You can make the place more inviting for the birds of the future. Come out and learn some and help some.  Meeting at 618 Sherwood Circle (That’s the street where the Salinas Adult School is.)
