Located in the heart of downtown Soledad, a stop here will help you maximize your travel and tourism opportunities throughout the 90-mile long Salinas Valley. You’ll find free brochures and maps, colorful exhibits and videos depicting the agricultural bounty of the Valley.
The compact building is wall-to-wall highlights of local attractions complete with a small-scale representation of Pinnacles National Park, Spanish arches inset with information on local California missions, photographs depicting the Valley’s agricultural history, a tour map to local wineries and, since it’s in the heart of Steinbeck Country, details on literary giant John Steinbeck, plus pick up a Literary Trail Map and follow in the footsteps of his characters.
