In Devendorf Park at the center of Carmel the Monterey County Pops will be performing. Their program will include many popular and patriotic tunes, for listening and singing along.
Someone had to have a parade! Monterey is always good for a celebration. The parade starts at 10:00and the route goes down Alvarado and Calle Principal in the center of town. Afterwards there will be bands and BBQ at the lawn in front of Colton Hall.
Not to be left out the Wharf businesses will be celebrating with stiltwalkers, Uncle Sam, and an orchestra . Swing by the wharf while checking out the many other diversions that are within the distance of a short walk. You won't regret it.
