In the heyday of variety shows the acts were a diverse representation of remarkable skills and talents. Just so in this version. Singing, dancing, and aerial acts will highlight this program.

This choir is made up of children throughout the world. Although the title means "hope" in the Ugandan language the children bring their own experiences from the native countries to the performance. It will be a celebration of hope incorporating the culture of the countries of origin of the singers.

For several years now the city of Salinas has sponsored a community parade. Scores of groups come out and march through the downtown center.
