This is the annual celebration of the "birthday" of the city of Monterey, this year is the 248th. Wow. There will be cake, dancing, costumes, and great barbeque. All of this will happen in the Memory Garden in Monterey.

The agriculture training program, ALBA, is opening its gates for the public to come and see and eat their work. They raise produce and farmers for the future. Bring a bag and some cash and you can share their bounty. Tours of the facility are also available.
