This year for the first time, the city of Seaside will be hosting a party for the Fourth. Beginning at 4:30 and culminating with the fireworks at 9:30, it will be a fun day for the whole family.

In King City they have decided that it's not the fourth without fireworks. So, they decided to go ahead and have them. At dusk, predictably, they will begin. Get there early for a good place to put down the blanket. Although if you have an extra buck, you may sit in the bleachers. http://kingcitychamber.com

Again the staff at Folktales Winery is presenting great musicians to delight and enthrall us.  These two musicians have accomplishments too many to list here. So come out and grab a glass of Folktales wine and relax, then enjoy the music.

If your child is scientifically curious, and whose child isn't, come by the MY (Monterey Youth) Museum for Weird Science activities. They happen every Friday morning and have different themes each week.   Participation is free with Museum admission. http://mymuseum.org
