Another celebration of the spooky season is happening in Carmel BTS. They are rolling squash down Ocean Ave. BYOP and have a crack at it. With any luck you may get your pumpkin all the way to the beach maybe into the water!

The annual rolling of the pumpkins happens on Ocean St. The squashes start up near the top of the street and head west to the water. Some make it, most don't but that's not the point. It is to have fun and continue the silly tradition, probably begun by teen pranksters many years ago.

Hard to believe that Marina is that old. It is old enough to  really celebrate now. You can help them by showing up. Lots of celebratory things to help the (relatively) young city have a good time. Music, food, activities, and joy. Details at https://www.cityofmarina.org

For those who enjoy the arts when some serious science is involved this is your place. The artist/performers are all under 25 years old.
