Maybe you have wanted to check out Steinbeck's childhood home.  Here's your chance to get to some of the previously closed parts of the home. Of special interest to many is the author's childhood bedroom.

This weekend is the end of the summer tours at the Steinbeck House in Salinas. In order to see the author's boyhood home and the place where all that creativity began. Tours begin at 11 and delicious food is also available. More info at http://www.steinbeckhouse.com
