Although it's a little early the season is upon us and why not? There will be dancing, food, music, and activities helping us to understand the nature of the celebrations in Mexico and here.

The city is 110 years old. Looking pretty good considering, don't you think?There will be feasting and merriment and cake.  Come and help the locals enjoy themselves.

It's the little sibling of the Big Sur Marathon. All the beauty and none of the hills. The whole set of events takes place over two days and involves a lot of running because there are  5k and 10k  races as well and lots of fun. Go to https://www.bsim.org for registration info and much more.

For 42 years the adobe buildings have been open to celebrate the season and give us a chance to see the interiors of these interesting buildings. There will be refreshments, singing, and music played for your enjoyment.  For ticket info and more details go to https://www.mshpa.org
