You can view this parade from the shore or duck indoors at the Crow's Nest nearby. Lots of local boats will be sailing by with the holiday spirits on display. It's a charming tradition and hard to beat for ease of viewing.

The Monterey Marina turns into a parade space. (It can't be a parade ground can it?) Find a cozy spot, maybe a restaurant, and take in a lovely and unique experience. anywhere on Fisherman's Wharf or the nearby Rec Trail will get you a view.

It's a race event or support arthritis  research. No doubt a real concern for the older runners in the event.  Come on out for a little seasonal fun and exercise. There will be races of different lengths and level of competition. And you get a lovely tour of Pacific Grove and the Bay.
