Wharf Walk (Whaling History)

The safe harbor created by the coastline of our area has lent itself to many activities. One of the more dangerous and spectacular of them is whaling. The giant mammals were hunted from different places according to the cultural practices of different groups. Local historian, Tim Thomas will lead a two hour lecture/walk filling in the history of this practice.
