Silk Road Ensemble (Uplifted Voices)

SInce its founding the Silk Road Ensemble has featured the music and traditions of the historic route from which it gets its name. This time it is the singing traditions of the cultures along the famous road. Primarily women’s voices are the focus of this presentation which includes songs from the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
