Oktoberfest

At The Barnyard, at the mouth of the Carmel Valley, where Monterey County looks most Bavarian, Nargis Lengacher began celebrating the festival of Oktoberfest seven years ago. Now they have a well established festival and lots of entertainment, food, and fun Bavarian-style. The proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society so that any overindulgence is for a very good cause. You should know that German Oktoberfest rules may not be in effect here.
