Mexican Independence Day Festival

Viva Mexico! On the 16 of September the people of Mexico began the effort to cast off the government of Spain. This is the continuation of that celebration after all these years. The celebration is a reflection of the Spanish/ Mexican history and influence over San Juan Bautista and the area in general.
