That stands for the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute, so you know that it will be educational and likely a lot of fun at the same time. It is near the working wharf part of Moss Landing so parking is a little tight. Car pooling is recommended. More info is available at http://www.mbari.org/openhouse
