Language Day

The reason Monterey can call itself the “Language Capital of the World” is the Defense Language Institute. These folks train people in the military and other government branches to speak the languages of the world. Not an easy job. The teachers and students love to share their country’s culture and what they have learned about it. Here’s is a chance for you to take a quick trip through the world and be home for dinner.
