Kiddie Kapers Parade

An important part of the Big Week festivities is this parade. The idea is that children dress up and decorate their personal transportation, bikes and wagons etc. and parade down one of the the main streets of Salinas. There are usually hundreds of children helped by significant adults in their world. Lots of creativity is on display and some outrageously cute children. This year’s theme is “Follow Your Dreams”.
