Herps @ Fort Ord

No not an infectious disease, it’s short for the class of snakes and other reptiles (herpetology). There are lots of reptiles living out and about at Fort Ord and you can learn how to find them and identify them. Meet up at the Creekside Trail Trailhead on Saturday June 16th at 9:00 and a naturalist, Bruce Delgado, will walk you about the former military base and give you the up close and personal experience. Three hours and about three miles of walking up and down some hills is also involved. Sunblock and comfy, sturdy shoes recommended.
