First Night Monterey

Thirty years of first nights and still going strong. As you can guess this is the New Year’s Eve Celebration in downtown Monterey. Thousands of people come out and enjoy the bands, ethnic entertainment, dances, and a wide variety of interesting costumes and people who come out to enjoy the hearty welcome of the coming year.
