Big Read (Justice for communities of color)

This is one of a series of activities and art exhibits, showings, and activities around the reading of a single book by the people of Monterey County.  This year’s selection is “Citizen” a collection of poetry presented in an innovative way. It deals with the realities of being a member of a community of color in modern America. This presentation is by two local women who have been working on similar issues for many years and have built careers in response to their experiences.
