1818 Battle of Monterey

When Argentinian forces tried to take over Monterey by force they were rebuffed by the local Californios and the Spanish soldiers from the area. The tall ship Lady Washington will participate and give a little period flavor to the dramatic presentation. Come to the Fisherman’s Wharf area and see something one doesn’t get to see very often.
