Part of the Steinbeck Center’s program “Women in Steinbeck’ Novels” this film is presented free for the public’s enjoyment. Starring Spencer Tracy, John Garfield and Hedy Lamarr it is definitely a gem from old Hollywood. On the big screen at the Maya Cinema next door to the Steinbeck Center.
