Peace Lantern Ceremony

For years now the Women’s League for Peace and Freedom has sponsored this event commemorating the horrific events in Nagasaki and Hiroshima. With the hope that this type of weapon may never be used again. It is a lovely ceremony and you can be part of it, very easily. Just go to Lover’s Point in Pacific Grove and bring a hopeful, positive wish for humanity. It happens on August 3rd and begins at 7:00.
