150th Anniversary of Salinas

Yes, we are 150 years old. It’s been that long since a group of landowners, business people, and ranchers decided that a site between Monterey and San Juan was a good place to settle down and make a town. It will happen just north of the City Center at the intersection of Lincoln and W. Market Streets. Events will take place at the California Welcome Center & Regional Heritage Center as well as the CSUMB City Center on the 100 block of Main St. Lots of activities and info from history to personal health will be available.  Hope to see you there.
