Yes\, sometimes they are problems like breaking sidewalks etc. but on the CSUMB campus there is so much available space and so few sidewalks and streets. Chances are it will be fun also. They plan to plant 2\,030 trees by April 20th.  You can be a part of this effort.

SUMMARY:Monterey Cherry Blossom Festival
DESCRIPTION:We do have some cherry blossoms but their ephemeral beauty doesn’t last long with our wind. So to celebrate that short life span the Japanese have made them a cultural mainstay. To celebrate this  locally the group\, Shinso Mugen Daiko has come to town for two evenings. Taiko literally translates to English as “big drum” but there is much more than that.
